Cantharidin was applied in office. Two (2) hours after application the tape should be removed, and the areas should be washed gently with soap and water.

Pat the area(s) dry with a clean towel and apply vaseline to the area(s) treated.

You can expect a localized skin reaction with blistering and mild discomfort.

24-48 hours after treatment, blisters have usually formed. Try not to manipulate the blisters- they should heal in 1 week.

The area(s) treated should be washed daily and kept covered with Vaseline until the wound(s) is/are completely healed this will help prevent crusting.
